I was recently nominated by Live Simple Live Inspired for the Mystery Blogger Award. And I must say that I am very grateful for the nomination. I had never heard of it before and maybe you haven’t either. So let me explain a little.

What is The Mystery Blogger Award?

The Mystery Blogger Award was created by Okoto Enigma. You can read more about it here if you would like. Otherwise, this is how she describes it.

They are one of the best out there, and they deserve every recognition they get. This award is also for bloggers who find fun and inspiration in blogging; and they do it with so much love and passion.

  2. I enjoy reading and learning new things. Everyone looks at me crazy when I tell them that I actually liked going to school. But, I did.
  3. We have a big family. All together I have 8 children, of course, some of those are step-children. But, I love them all just the same.

My favorite post

This post is a bit emotional for me, but I would say it is one of my favorites.

Our T1D Diagnosis Story

Questions from Debra at LiveSimpleLiveInspired

  1. What brings you joy? My answer would have to be a long, hot, bubble bath or getting in my hot tub. It’s my favorite way to relax and take some ME time.
  2. What is a favorite memory from childhood? My favorite childhood memories would be Christmas mornings. It’s always been my favorite holiday.
  3. What is your biggest regret? I don’t live with regrets. I believe things happen for a reason. But one thing I could have worked on a little more would have been making my children more independent. They rely on me a little too much.
  4. Do you have a favorite meal? If so, what is it? Yes, I do have a favorite. I would have to say it is steak with a potato and a salad. Yummy!
  5. Do you consider yourself an extrovert or introvert? I am definitely an introvert. I have social anxiety and hate big crowds. I’ve always been more of a home body.

    1. You are so welcome Gabby. I just wanted to show you a little love! I appreciate the support you have given me as well. You deserve this nomination and award! ๐Ÿ†

  1. Thank you so much for the nomination!! I am so humbled and grateful about that fact that you thought of my little blog!

Only because I have so many articles I’m currently working on, I would love to answer your questions here if you don’t mind!

    1. What was the reason behind starting your blog?

I originally created another blog called Happy Little Pixels (www.happylilpixels.com) which was inspired by my crazy obsession for anything and everything that has to do with creativity. I wanted to start a creative community and find ways to invoke creativity in others while also promoting my photography. Starting to write for Happy Little Pixels made me realize how much I enjoy writing, which is why I created The Tinker Bug. I wanted to expand my topics and not be limited to just creativity.

    2. Whatโ€™s your favorite hobby?

    Photography and Graphic Design!

    3. As a child, what did you dream of doing when you grew up?

I actually dreamt of becoming a teacher someday. I was actually starting to go back to school to become one a couple of years ago, but then I had my son and just didn’t have time to go back to school.

    4. If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Hmm, that’s a good question! If I could only choose one place right now, it would probably be either Japan or Hong Kong. I’ve always wanted to see its beautiful architecture.

    5. And now, for my weird/funny question, whatโ€™s the worst line/lie you have ever heard?

Some guy tried to pass off like he was part of a no-name band to try an impress me. He let me listen to one of their songs and 2 days later, at the grocery store, I heard the same song playing. So I looked it up and of course, it was an up in coming band supposedly. Of which NONE of the members was this guy.

Thank you again for your nomination!!!

    1. You are so very welcome! Thank you for your reply. Do you still have the first blog? Keeping up with two can be a hard job! Especially with that little one. And you may not be doing what you had dreamt of, but with your blog, your doing something you at least enjoy. โœ People can be so funny sometimes, I can’t believe he tried to pass off another bands song. Did he think you would never hear it? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thanks again for your answers.

Your feedback is always welcomed and appreciated.
